THE CABOT TRAIL TWO TANDEMS TWO CHILDREN TWO ADULTS AND A TRAILER AUGUST 1991

It was going to be a summer holiday and so we drove to Cape Breton with our tandems. Here the kids are reading at the entrance to the roadway, reading always has been their first love. And though the trail was tough we rode it all.

And even found time to do a little hiking and whale watching. We met lovely people all the way round and a group of young teenagers cycling on ten speeds. And we thought the hills were tough.

No trip would be complete without a visit to Farley Mowats boat the catalyst for his story about what else a leaking boat that wouldn't float.   family.jpg (57510 bytes)
