PEI

They told us PEI was flat. Well they lied. It is flat in some spots but you do not normally cycle those areas. The interior roads are very much up and down with steep ups and screaming descents. The people are just delightful and a request for water brought us a pitcher of the cool stuff ice cubes and glasses included. Outside of the trendy tourist areas PEI is a quiet cyclist's delight with many lightly traveled side roads. Take note though that if it rains that beautiful red clay turns to mud and wreaks havoc with your bike and riding. The pictures below are of one of our lunch stops at a small white church along the way, the beach, and Dan and I ready to go deep sea fishing.
